Currently, Scottish quartet Travis is about as popular as any British export has been stateside since Oasis’ "Wonderwall" toppled radio charts way back in 1996. In the four-year drought since, American radio has paid little to no attention to anything even smacking of the generic "Brit-pop" tag. But thanks to a No. 1 album (1999's sophomore effort The Man Who, four top-20 singles, and album sales of over 2 million in the U.K. alone, Travis has created a buzz that even Carson Daly can’t ignore.
